About this campaign
In New York City, 120 volunteers came together to pack 1,000 Mishloach Manot for sick children spending Purim in the hospital. For children going through treatments or spending the holiday away from home, Purim can feel very different from the celebrations they are used to. We wanted to make sure they still felt remembered, included, and surrounded by the joy of the holiday. Together, our volunteers packed each Mishloach Manot with care so they could be delivered to children in hospitals and bring a little extra happiness, warmth, and Purim spirit directly to their rooms. It was such a special example of what can happen when a community comes together for one simple goal: making sure children facing difficult circumstances still get to experience a little bit of the joy of Purim.
